Manga comics are distributed by Manga Entertainment, LLC in the US, UK, France, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. The characters unique look made the comics popular all over the world. The trademark of the characters is that they have big, round eyes having tiny lips and face with an almost invisible nose.

Manga comics was a result of the overwhelming demand of anime products. Since the introduction of anime to other countries it became more and more popular. Different merchandises were also created due to the popularity of anime and since then Manga became one of the most in-demand comics worldwide.

Manga Entertainment's first release was entitled Akira which was a big hit. Due to its success, the company licensed other anime that will be released in countries such as Australia, Europe and eventually in the US.

Aside from creating manga comics, the company also co-produces anime movies such as Eon Kid, Ghost in Shell, Street Fighter Alpha: The Animation and the like.

The production of manga comics was not planned but because of the success of the show Akira, Manga Entertainment was created. But thankfully, it was created because there are thousands of teenagers and even adults who are into anime.

You can also see people imitate their popular anime characters during cosplay events. This is how influential anime became even from clothes to how they wear is influenced by anime.

Archie Comics on iPod and iPhone

For decades, Archie has been bound in paper and people are not complaining about it. But as technology introduces a lot of options Archie comics can now be read through your iPhones and iPods. Archie Comic and iVerse Media has announced that Archie Comics iPhone Apps can now be downloaded. Archie fanatics can now download the very first time Archie landed on Riverdale High.

When we talk about comics, there are only two things that comes into mind, it's either superheroes or Archie. Right now, Archie Freshman Year #1 and #2 is available for download for only a small amount of 99 cents. With a small amount you can now enjoy reading each Archie issue anywhere and every where you want.

With this new development, for sure this will attract new readers because everything today is digital. Every corner you turn technology is always there. And not to mention, this option is much cheaper than buying Archie comics in paper. But still Archie comics in paper will make a great memorabilia that you can show to your kids and the next generation to come.

X-Men Forever Comic Book Review

Its been a long time since a new X-men comic book story was published and now the wait has ended because X-men Forever is here. Fortunately, the collaboration of Chris Claremont and Jim Lee to create the X-men Forever is a success and the new issue was sold out! When you read this one, you cannot tell that the last issue was released way back in 1991 because the story was continued like the past only happened yesterday.

For some, especially those who were able to read the last issue in 1991, will surely appreciate and might even reminisce the past issue. It has a very old-school feel into it like it was just written yesterday. But still some people might treat this one as a new story, plot, adventure or whatever especially when they were not able to read any X-men Forever issues in the past. So, if you have not read any past issues of X-men Forever, reading the first page on this one might confuse you or you might feel like that there is something missing. But just keep on reading and you will surely appreciate the story in the end.

When it comes to the illustration part, everything went smoothly. Tom Grummet made a good job at infusing the look of the past characters to a more modern character. The battle with Cortez looks great and very smoothly done which made the story more appealing.

Even if X-men Forever felt like dwelling in the past, we still cannot remove the fact that without the past, we will not be able to get into reading X-men Forever now.

Captain America Reborn Starts July 1, 2009

In the Captain America #25 issue, readers were devastated to find out that Captain America was assassinated. It is hard to take in the news even just to imagine it is unbearable. For days, people have wept over the said loss of a hero. But wait, is he really gone? Did Red Skull really achieved his goal of eliminating Captain America?

People still need Captain America and heroes do not die easily because come July 1, 2009 Captain America will be reborn! Steve Rogers is back from the dead and that will be explained on the Captain America Reborn issue that will be composed of five series from Marvel.

Since the very first time Captain America was introduced fighting the Nazis, he became a symbol of patriotism. He has become an icon for the US efforts to provide freedom to the oppressed all over the world. For 70 years, Captain America has become the Sentinel of Liberty. And for the American people, he is one of the most well-known superheroes to date. So when announced that he was dead, the shock was felt all over the world.

And now that Captain America will be reborn this will surely be a huge event to date in the comics industry. With the collaboration of Ed Brubaker and Bryan Hitch, the Captain America Reborn promises more action and great presentation that will make the readers itching for more. For sure, now that readers have a glimpse of what is about to happen, the first thing to ask is that how did Captain America live again?

DC Comics – Green Lantern 41

On the Green Lantern 41, the Green Lantern Corps and the Guardians are in battle with the Orange Lantern. Orange Lantern is said to be the most greedy among his race. The idea of bringing in Orange Lantern or Larfleeze into the story is interesting and fun at the same time. Instead of just focusing on the Lantern Corps it gives a refreshing twist on the Green Lantern issue.

Though, the Orange Lantern did not become the greediest among his race without any reason. Once you get a hold of Green Lantern 41 you will soon find out the history of Orange Lantern. Orange Lantern also felt that he is a good guy and his ways are also good. But from the viewpoint of the Guardian and the Green Lantern Corps, everything he did is wrong. As a reader, you will also come to a point and realize that his motives are good. But still we do not know what will be the future of the Orange Lantern on the hands of the Guardian and the Green Lantern Corps.

When it comes to the interpretation of the characters, you will be surprised that two artists worked on it. Everything blended well and in place which just makes the story more interesting to read. Also, there are certain character designs that are very unique and you will want to look closer.

All in all, Green Lantern 41 gets a two thumbs up. So if you are interested about something else aside from the Green Lantern Corps, then this issue is perfect for you.

All-Star Batman and Robin: The Boy Wonder Vol. 1

The All-Star Batman and Robin: The Boy Wonder Vol. 1 will be on sale this coming June 24, 2009. This issue hsa been said to have a lot of mystery, strange and the most bizzare Batman story, but always in a good way. Frank Miller and Jim Lee collaborated on this one and it is taking a lot of buzz from different sides of the world.

If some may not appreciate the twist in the All-Star Batman and Robin: The Boy Wonder Vol. 1, there are also other people who highly appreciate it. This people are those that do not always stick with the traditions. And the different path that this issue has taken has made them very happy.

Expect a lot of twist in this issue with the participation of old and new villains. Also, all time favorite super heroes will join Batman and Robin to fight of evil doers. Batman in the All-Star Batman and Robin: The Boy Wonder Vol. 1 was really built well and was presented as a very strong, perfect and tough crime-fighter and that no one is better than him.

There are a lot of wild and crazy things that are going to happen in this issue. One is that Batman fights his way against his fellow superheroes and only keeps Robin and Alfred by his side. So there you go but that is only a piece of the cake and not the cherry on top.

Archie Is Geting Married to Veronica!

Yes, you heard it right! Archie is getting married to Veronica and Betty, well is still pretty and nice. Finally, the love triangle of Betty, Veronica and Archie has come to a halt which was the main story of Archie comics.

Hopefully Betty is handling the wedding thing fine. I personally did not imagine that Archie will end up proposing to Veronica since she is a high-maintenance and rich girl while Archie is the exact opposite. But still you cannot tell who your heart will love and this is proven by Archie's love story.

But wait, do not expect everything to go smoothly especially wedding preparations are a bit nasty. Veronica, as I have mentioned is high-maintenance and wants everything to be perfect. She also plans on getting Betty as her maid of honor! Oh no! How will Betty handle all this? Will she accept the offer or will she just stay at home and mope over the whole wedding situation?

So this is definitely going to be very interesting when the August issue of Archie comics will be released. For sure, there are a lot of things you do not want to miss in the biggest wedding in Riverdale. There will still be a lot of twist in the story and we still have yet to know the final ending in Archie's love story. Will it be a happy ending or not?

Archie Comics Facts

Archie Comics is the publisher of the very popular Archie series which features the following characters:

- Archie Andrews

- Betty Cooper

- Veronica Lodge

- Reggie Mantle

- Forsythe "Jughead" Jones

The characters were said to be based on the people John L. Goldwater, publisher/editor, met when he was traveling all over the United States. The first issue of the Archie comic books were published in the Winter of 1942.
The original Archie Comics publications was named MLJ Comics and it started publishing in the year 1939.
The first publications of MLJ Comics was about generic superheroes. First superhero published was The Shield then Captain America and The Comet. The Comet was the first superhero to be killed while on duty.
In the year 1941, the Archie story began to become popular. Back then it was only a backup feature in Pep. So when the story of this teenage boy reached heights, the owners of MLJ decided to change their name to Archie Comics.
Aside from the usual location at Riverdale, Archie and his gang were also cast as superheroes and spies in on eof the issues of the comic books.
In 1943, there is an Archie Andrews radio program that was aired on several networks until the year 1953.
In 1968, Archie was adapted in as a Saturday morning cartoon program which was title The Archie Show.
The band "The Archies", was able to top the charts with their song 'Sugar, Sugar'.
There was also an attempt to adapt Archie into a movie though it was discontinued.
In the 70's and 80's, Archie characters were also featured in a Christian comic book.
